Praying for those affected by the storms in Florida and the fires in Colorado

Dear Jesus,

     We lift up before You now those affected by, and in the paths of, the tropical storms in Florida and the wild fires in Colorado.  We ask that You would be with all the victims, their families, and friends in a special way.  To watch over them, protect them, and bless them.  Grant them the peace that comes only from having a saving faith and relationship with You.  Help them rebuild their homes and lives.  And help no one be left in despair.  Bring Your people, Your children, around those that are grieving their losses.  Inspire their hearts to reach out, sharing Your great love, to the hurting and broken hearted.  Soften the hearts of those who need help to receive a helping hand from those who try to help.  Let them also receive Your love that You extend through Your people.
     We thank You and love You, Lord Jesus!  It is in Your mighty Name that we pray and ask these things.

Praying for Tween Camp

Dear Lord Jesus,

     This morning we come to You asking that You protect all the people going to Tween Camp, both children and adults.  We pray that You will touch each life in a special way this week.  And help all of us learn to have a deeper more meaningful relationship with You.  We ask that You would keep us all healthy during this time.  And help us all to have fun as we learn what it means to be a disciple of Yours.
     As always, we give You all the praise and glory for ever.  We love You, God!

A Prayer for Jenny's Tooth Ache

Dear Jesus,

     Tonight we thank You for Jenny.  We thank You for hearing our prayers and concerning Yourself with our concerns.  We thank You for being our mighty healer and great Physician.  And right now, we prayerfully lift Jenny before You.  We ask that You will show her grace and mercy by easing her tooth-ache pain until she can get to a doctor that can take care of her tooth.  Thank You, Lord God, for allowing us the privilege to talk to You in this way.  We love You, Lord.

A Prayer for Matt and Jenny's dog, Lewis

Dear Jesus,

     We know that You are the Creator of everything in Heaven and Earth.  We also know that You care for and about all forms of life.  As You know, Matt and Jenny's dog, Lewis, is very sick right now.  And we are lifting Lewis up before You in our prayers asking You for a healing touch for him.  We ask that, if it be Your will to heal him through the use of veterinarians, that You would guide them to the correct diagnosis, treatment, and cure soon.  Thank You, Lord God.  We love You!

A Prayer for the Friends and Family of the Victims of Today's Plane Crash

Dear heavenly  Father,

     We come before You at this time to lift up the family and friends of the victims of today's plane crash in Florida.  We ask that You would heal the hearts and comfort the minds of those affected.  We pray that You lead these grieving individuals to the place of comfort found in Your love and grace.  And we also pray that You will renew the blessed hope that we all have in You that every wrong will be made right.
     Thank You, Lord Jesus!  We love You!
