A prayer for Nathanael

Dear Father in Heaven,

     Father God, we know that You are our the Great Physician and Mighty Healer.  Tonight we lift Nathanael before You as he's in the hospital with a very high fever.  We ask that You would cool his fever and touch his body to heal him.  We pray that You will cleanse his body of whatever is ailing him.  And that You would grant the doctors and nurses, to whose care You've entrusted him, wisdom and sharpness of mind to see, treat, and remedy this fever and the cause of this symptom.  We pray that You would protect Nathanael from any harm that may possibly come from sustaining a high fever for a long time.  And that You will give Nathanael and his family peace, comfort, and rest tonight as they remember that You are in control.  We thank You Father God for Your sovereignty over every thing and every situation!  We praise You for all that You are and all that You do!  You're truly amazing God!  Our souls will continually sing Your praise for Your endless worth!  We love You!  Blessed be Your Name, Lord God!

A prayer for Melodie's Healing

Dear heavenly Father,

     We thank You and praise You for being our God and great healer!  We thank You for giving us Melodie and everything that You enable her to do for Your Kingdom.  And we also thank You that her doctor was able to figure out what it is that's ailing her.  Right now, we lift Melodie up to You in our prayers.  We ask that You would heal her of the shingles.  Cause this discomfort and sickness to pass quickly, Lord.  And during her recovery, we pray that You will keep her close to Your side.  Thank You, God.  We love You!

A Prayer For Strength and Guidance

Dear Lord Jesus,

     We lift up my friend and his family to You.  We ask You to intervene in this situation and give strength and wisdom to do the right thing to all those involved.  We pray the You would encourage this family, with all of its members, to search after You with their whole heart.  We ask that You will lead them all to a church membership of Your choosing.  And that You will give them the faith to step out and do what is right.  We not only know, but see, You at work in this situation - and we ask that You would give us peace knowing that You are in control.  Thank You, our Lord, our God, an our Friend for giving us the opportunity to come toYou in this way.  And for hearing us.  We love You, Jesus!

Praying for Nessa and Kloey

Dear Jesus,

     We lift Nessa and her unborn daughter Kloey before You now.  We ask that You, Lord, would pour out Your great healing mercies upon them.  We know that You are our Great Physician and our mighty Healer.  We know from where our help comes from, and it comes from You, Lord Jesus!  From You and You alone!  We pray that You will use this medical emergency to turn the hearts and minds of Nessa, Kloey, and everyone near them to You.  We love You, Jesus!  We are so very thankful to have a friend in You.

A Prayer for Thomas

Dear Lord Jesus,

    We come before You lifting up Thomas in our prayers.  We ask that You would intervene in his life and work situation.  We pray that You will help him either keep the job he has, or lead him to a better position.  We ask that You would remind Thomas of the grace, mercy, and great love You have for him in this time.  And we pray that You will reveal a part of Your great plan for his life to him.  Thank You, Lord Jesus!  And thank You for not only being our Lord, but our friend though good times and bad.  We love You, God!
